In the summer of 2025, Aubrey began experiencing daily headaches. With no other symptoms, it was difficult to determine the cause at first. With the persistence of her pediatrician, an MRI was finally performed, revealing the source of her pain.
Just before starting 4K, Aubrey was diagnosed with an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor. The news was devastating, but her strength and spirit have remained unwavering.
Shortly after welcoming her baby sister into the world, Aubrey began six weeks of daily radiation treatment. She completed radiation later in 2025 with encouraging results and has shown incredible resilience throughout every step of the process.
Aubrey is currently on daily medication to help prevent the tumor from growing and continues to work closely with her care team at Children’s Hospital to determine the next steps in her journey. Through it all, she has remained full of life, never losing her spark, and continues to inspire everyone around her.
